As an elite college baseball player, I want my body to be 100% healthy whenever I take the field. One old, nagging injury that limited me for years was a chest contusion (it occurred during a high-speed collision while playing another sport) that caused a rib fracture, rib displacement, and extreme shoulder blade pain in my throwing arm. In the months and years following the injury, I visited various MDs, physical therapists, chiropractors, and rehab specialists. I tried all kinds of treatment- some appeared to work in the short-term but the pain always kept coming back! Sometimes the pain was so bad that I had trouble even picking up a bat. On good days, I could barely swing the bat and throw the ball.
I was a wreck. I came to Jennifer with a structural leg length discrepancy and a herniated disc. The disc had been affecting my life for the previous year. These are not good things for anyone to have to deal with.
I was an Olympic Weight lifter already dealing with arthritic changes in my spine and I had a shear injury to my L5-S1 vertebrae. I found Jennifer through her site, and decided to give it a try.
As a triathlete, I had trained my body to push through and ignore aches and pains, which over time had led to a decrease in my performance.
I injured my right shoulder lifting weights at the gym. It never got better. In fact, since I had to compensate with my left shoulder, I eventually injured it, too. I tried massages, but they gave only temporary relief.
I suffered a catastrophic car accident in the spring of 1990. I was in my early 20s at the time and in the best physical shape of my life.

"I am pleased to say that my experience with Muscle Activation has been great. It helped me to further learn my body’s limitations during my workouts and it increased my stability and range of motion.
